A little history
The monks of the priory of Saint-Vivant de Vergy made these vines famous. In 1760, the Prince of Conti bought La Romanée, which took his name: Romanée-Conti. The historian Gaston Roupnel saw in this little corner the very best that Burgundy has produced.
